Causes of appearance of paleogeomorphology was the development of an industrial society in the 19th century. In the 20th century there was favorable conditions for the creation and development of paleogeomorphology in the USSR. Paleogeomorphology in Ukraine was a part of its, but here paleogeomorphological researches ahead of them. Paleogeomorphological atlas of Ukraine shall be reflect scientific and practical achievements of geomorphology and paleoheomorphology in Ukraine and become a foreword to the creation of geomorphological atlas of Ukraine. Atlas will consist of 5 parts: explanatory text, provides historical data, theoretical concept, basic scientific and methodological achievements of previous paradigms to study morphogenesis geomorphology of the Earth; traditional paleogeomorphological maps are built on history-genetical base for different age etapes of Precambrian, Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic of Ukraine; new types maps are based on the morfochronodynamical concept; special maps of the separates objects of geomorpholithosphere of Ukraine; special prognostic maps for retrospective, current and prospective forecasting.
